A Basic Graphic Design Training Was Provided to Our Students and Staff by Our Unit's Lecturer, Instructor Ali PARİM

A basic graphic design training was provided for our students and staff by one of our academics, Instructor Ali Parim.

In the program held at the 8 September Martyrs Conference Hall of the Medico-Social Facilities, Instructor Parim first emphasized the importance of creating effective graphics and designs in the digitalized world.

Highlighting that everyone has become a content creator with the advancements in communication technologies today, Parim said: 'In the digital age, a narrative style based solely on words is not enough to create the desired impact when addressing the target audience. It is much more likely to achieve the desired outcome when we convey our message through graphic design products that are effective, simple, and striking. For this reason, it is essential for everyone to have at least a basic understanding of graphic design in the digital era.

Continuing his speech, Parim touched on the key considerations when creating designs, particularly emphasizing the impact of colors on human psychology. He underscored the importance of ensuring that color combinations are balanced and aligned with the content.

Ali Parim also discussed the most preferred professional graphic design programs in the industry. In the final part of his speech, he explained the features of the increasingly popular Canva application.

The training concluded with the creation of sample designs using the Canva application.
