Pharmacy is the name given to institutions where patients in need can obtain their medicines. This department aims to train qualified personnel in this sector. The department is a 2-year associate degree program, students who want to complete their education in 4 years have various options if they meet the requirements. The pharmacy services department is a 2-year associate degree program within the health vocational school. The purpose of this program is to train competent personnel who can work in pharmaceutical companies, drug production laboratories or drug sales organizations, who have all kinds of information about drugs and can respond to customer demands, and who can inform them about the effects and use of drugs. Although the program in question consists of 2 years and 8 semesters, when you look at the purpose of the program, you can see that this process is multifaceted and comprehensive. Graduates from the pharmacy services department are given the title of Pharmacy Technician and work as a health technician. During the education period of the pharmacy services department, students will learn many theoretical and practical courses. In most of the chemistry-focused courses, there will also be application courses held in the laboratory. Another addition to the application is that it should be noted that the student must also complete an 8-week pharmacy internship in order to complete the training process.
